Universal Orlando Resort has announced the first original haunted house for its 2025 Halloween Horror Nights event. Universal has previously announced IP-driven haunted houses, first with a Fallout-themed house, and then with a Friday the 13th-themed house. This new, original concept follows a tortured artist – in the literal sense of the word. As we walk through a secluded manor, paintings come to life, bringing malevolent spirits into our realm. Here’s the announcement from Universal.

El Artista: A Spanish Haunting Haunted House

In 19th-century Spain, a tortured artist moves to an isolated country manor to seek inspiration. Instead, as he wanders the ghostly hallways and haunted conservatory, malevolent spirits break into our realm through his paintings. He tries to resist, but the art comes to life and possesses him. Now, you’re about to be part of the permanent exhibition.

Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) is an adult-focused haunt event that takes place at Universal Studios Florida. HHN is an after-hours event that requires a separate ticket to attend. Completely different than Magic Kingdom’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, HHN is a true haunt event, completely with scary themes not suitable for children.

In total, there will be 10 haunted houses, a number of scare zones throughout the park, live entertainment, themed food & drinks, and even attractions available to enjoy during the event.

For information on tickets, visit the official Halloween Horror Nights webpage.
