A preview for Disney Pixar’s Elio is now playing at the Walt Disney Presents attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition to the preview, which temporarily replaces the One Man’s Dream film at the end of the museum, there is some artwork and character maquettes from the production of the film. Here’s a look around!
Elio Preview & Props at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The cosmic misadventure introduces Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination and a huge alien obsession. So, when he’s beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide, Elio’s all in for the epic undertaking.Mistakenly identified as Earth’s leader, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions, and somehow discover who and where he is truly meant to be.
The preview is some 8 minutes long, with extended scenes such as the initial abduction of Elio, a segment when Elio meets Glordon, and more. The preview also has a brief introduction from Zoe Saldaña and Yonas Kibreab. No photos or video were allowed during the preview, so head on down to Disney’s Hollywood Studios if you’d like to watch!
Elio hits theaters June 20th, and is directed by Madeline Sharafian (“Burrow” Sparkshort), Domee Shi (“Bao” short, “Turning Red”) and Adrian Molina (co-screenwriter/co-director of “Coco”), and produced by Mary Alice Drumm (associate producer of “Coco”).
