New construction walls have appeared at the Transportation & Ticket Center around a number of ticketing kiosks. The Magic Kingdom ticketing area underwent a refresh back in 2021 to update the color scheme of the area. While there are still some purples left, most of the area is blue and gold now, as seen in the first set of photos below. That said, there is some new construction underway that might be interesting to watch progress. Here’s a look around!
Construction Walls Arrive at Transportation & Ticket Center
Before we take a look at the construction walls, here’s a look at a current ticketing kiosk for reference, should any changes be made as part of the work.

And here’s a look at the Transportation & Ticket Center construction walls blocking off the ticketing kiosks. The construction walls span three ticketing kiosk clusters as of today. Other ticketing kiosks remain open to guests, based on demand.

The Transportation & Ticket Center is located a little more than 3/4 miles from the Magic Kingdom front gate. Guests using the Magic Kingdom parking lot generally utilize either the monorail or ferryboats from the Transportation & Ticket Center to get to the Magic Kingdom theme park. Walking options are also available, but not very popular due to the 30-45 minute time commitment.
The Transportation & Ticket Center also has a monorail to EPCOT, which can be used to simplify park hopping between Walt Disney World’s oldest theme parks.
