Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade has showtimes through this Saturday, and then that’s it (for now). Confusingly, Walt Disney World has not yet posted showtimes for the parade for any dates beyond Saturday, August 2nd. For a vacation that requires so much advance planning, it’s a bit surprising that we don’t know what the parade showtimes will be in just 6 days. If I had to guess, it’s just a bit of laziness, but what if it’s something more?

No Performances of Disney Starlight Scheduled Starting August 3rd
Both the Walt Disney World theme park calendar and the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade web pages have no performances scheduled beyond August 2nd. The parade will obviously still be performed, but the question is: will Disney Starlight only be shown once per night?
There are a few factors that make me think that Disney will continue the twice-nightly performances of Disney Starlight:
- First, the parade is still very new. Disney is still forecasting elevated crowds due to how new the parade is, so it would make sense to continue performing it twice per night.
- Second, Magic Kingdom has 11pm closings on non-event nights through the end of August. If Magic Kingdom is going to be open for an hour after the 10pm fireworks show, that indicates that Disney wants to run an 11pm parade to me.
- Third, the Halloween party season is coming up, which means that Magic Kingdom will be swamped with guests on non-party nights. With fewer days per week to present the new nighttime parade, Disney will likely want to keep the twice-nightly performances through the party season (read: into 2026).
If Disney were to drop down to just a single performance scheduled per night, it would be a shocking move. Any other time of year, I think that there could be an argument made for a single performance during slower times. And yes, we are approaching one of the slowest months of the year in September, but I can’t see Walt Disney World dropping down to just one parade performance per night.
Right now, they have nothing scheduled starting this Sunday, so we’ll keep an eye out for any changes. Typically, Disney makes park hours changes on Fridays, so we were hoping that they would’ve updated the Disney Starlight hours then, but they did not. Hopefully it won’t take Disney too much longer to realize that their brand new parade doesn’t have showtimes starting this weekend.
