Pixar’s Elio has officially hit theaters—and Disney Parks around the globe are joining the celebration. For a limited time, guests visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disney Resort can discover themed experiences, exclusive photo ops, special snacks, and more, all inspired by Pixar’s newest intergalactic hero.

It’s always exciting when Disney Parks bring a new movie to life, but Elio makes it extra special. With its cosmic worlds, quirky alien designs, and heartfelt themes, the film is a natural fit for places like Tomorrowland and Discoveryland.

Whether you’re dancing under the stars, sketching alien creatures, or sipping a shimmer-filled float, these park experiences offer a fun way to extend the magic of the movie beyond the theater.

What Elio Is All About

In Elio, we meet an imaginative 11-year-old boy who finds himself suddenly transported to a galaxy far from home—and mistakenly identified as Earth’s official ambassador. Thrust into the spotlight among a wildly diverse council of alien civilizations called the Communiverse, Elio must navigate first contact, interplanetary politics, and his own fears of not fitting in.

But this isn’t just a space adventure filled with colorful aliens and cosmic landscapes (though there’s plenty of that, too). At its core, Elio is a story about identity, courage, and connection. As Elio tries to prove himself to an entire galaxy, he discovers that what makes him different might be exactly what makes him special.

It’s a story that’s playful, emotional, and visually stunning, making it even more fun to see touches of Elio and his new friends popping up across Disney Parks.

Walt Disney World Resort – Magic Kingdom

At Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland, Elio is beaming in with high-energy fun and themed treats:

  • Galactic Blast is rocking the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage as part of the Cool Kid Summer lineup. This space-themed DJ dance party features out-of-this-world music and the possibility of surprise appearances.

  • At Merchant of Venus, guests can explore Elio’s Guide to an Intergalactic Adventure. Scan a “postcard to space,” take photos with cosmic backdrops, and meet Elio’s new alien friends in this immersive takeover.

  • Need to cool off? Stop by Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies for the Elio Float—a Sprite-based, purple shimmer float topped with fruit-flavored boba, vanilla soft-serve, gold star sprinkles, and a blue raspberry sour straw. It’s available through September 1, 2025.

Disneyland Resort – Pixar Place Hotel

At Pixar Place Hotel, the second-floor Art of Pixar Gallery showcases Elio’s visual development with behind-the-scenes drawings, sculptures, and concept art. It’s a cosmic look at the creativity behind Pixar’s latest film.

Downstairs in the lobby, guests will find an Elio-themed photo location and alien sculptures, including Lord Grigon, perfect for fans looking to snap a few space-inspired pics.

Disneyland Paris – Discoveryland & Walt Disney Studios Park

Through July 9, 2025, guests visiting Disneyland Paris can find Elio in multiple locations:

  • Stop by Discoveryland for a brand-new Elio-themed Animated Magic Shot, a great way to add a little space flair to your PhotoPass collection.

  • At Animation Academy, Elio and Glordon have joined the lineup of characters you can learn to draw. You’ll also catch the Elio trailer in the pre-show and a themed panel in the post-show.

  • Keep an eye out for collectible character cards featuring six characters from the film—and don’t miss the surprise water art illustrations of Elio and Glordon throughout the park.

Shanghai Disney Resort – Tomorrowland

Over in Shanghai, Elio is getting a Pixar-style welcome at Stargazer Grill – Pixar Celebration in Tomorrowland. Here, guests may receive limited-time Pixar-themed disposable cups and placemats, some of which feature characters from Elio. They’re perfect for anyone collecting unique park souvenirs during the film’s run.
