Halloween night has sold out in record time and at a record price for a largely unchanged 2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The price for a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Halloween night was set at a whopping $229. Last year, it took a week for tickets to sell out to any event night, and Halloween night was the first to go. Let’s talk about this.

Halloween Night Sells Out in Record Time at Record Price for Not-So-Scary
Clearly, Walt Disney World has not found the ceiling when it comes to pricing Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets, even after a $30 increase for the most expensive ticket. The party is not substantially different this year, but people keep coming. Or, at least, capacity has been hit. It’ll be interesting to see if the rest of the party dates sell out at a proper pace, or if the optics of scarcity via a low capacity is just as effective as actual scarcity when it comes to getting guests to pull out their wallets.
If there isn’t something fishy going on here with Disney heavily manipulating capacity, there is a larger disconnect between the fan base and the average guest than I thought. While Disney fans complain about pricing, Disney World is still able to sell out at a record-high price. While Disney’s fans continue to balk at pricing and a lack of new offerings, Walt Disney World clearly doesn’t have to do anything new or maintain “low” pricing to make money – so why should they?
