This was supposed to be the summer of Disney World discounts. In late March, Disney World announced a slew of discounts expected to entice families to visit the parks.

Some argue that Disney’s discounts directly result from Epic Universe opening on May 22, but bigger economic trends have forced Disney World into this position.

The Trump Administration’s policies, including tariffs and rhetoric around immigration, have caused thousands of international visitors to cancel their summer plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. This downturn in international travel had significantly impacted Disney World’s summer attendance.

Whatever the reason, this would be the cheapest summer to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in a long time. However, one of the most popular discounts has quietly disappeared.

In late March, Disney announced that guests could get a free dining plan on select vacations from June 29 to December 22. Guests who booked at least a four-night vacation package with a non-discounted room and Park Hopper tickets would have received a dining plan at no additional cost.

However, Disney removed the deal from its website without warning. It is unclear if the deal will return for guests who want to book for the fall or winter.

Disney World also offered a similar deal for guests who booked their resort vacation using a Disney Visa card, but that deal has also left Disney World’s website.

The Disney Visa deal was unavailable for as many days as the regular offer, but neither is available to guests. However, there is another deal that guests can still book for the time being.

Guests can still receive free dining for children (ages 3-9). Despite Disney World removing the other two free dining package deals, kids eating free seems more likely to stay around.

Disney is attempting to lure young families away from Universal, and giving them free food is a good start. Disney has also announced that kids will eat free for all of 2026.

So, if you plan a trip to Disney World later this year, you better book before the deals go.
