Spring Break is here, and for guests traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort, that can mean only one thing: crowds. Outside of Christmas, Spring Break is the busiest time of year to visit Disney World.
There are a couple of options for those looking to skip past the crowds and ensure that they can get onto all the rides they want, but each option will cost you.
We already knew that Disney World was increasing the prices of its Lightning Lane Premier Pass to its highest levels ever for Spring Break, but now, Disney has also increased the prices of its Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass to near-record levels.
Disney World is charging $449 per person per day for its Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom. That same pass is $339 at Hollywood Studios, $239 at EPCOT, and $189 at Animal Kingdom.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows guests to skip the line once on every ride in the park without having to plan a specific time window.
Just in time for the Spring Break crowds, Disney also increased the prices of its Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, in some cases by as much as $12 per day. However, guests heading to Disney World will have one less option this week to skip the lines.
Premier Pass Sells Out
This week, the Lightning Lane Premier pass has sold out at the Magic Kingdom. From March 14 to March 21, guests can no longer purchase the $449 line-skipping option.
During that same time frame, the Lightning Lane Premier pass is also sold out at Hollywood Studios for six of the eight days. The pass at Hollywood Studios is $339 and is still available on March 17 and 21.
The pass is sold out at EPCOT on March 14, but it is unsurprisingly available for the next eight days at Animal Kingdom. With Animal Kingdom undergoing massive construction, very few rides and attractions are available for Lightning Lane.
Disney World does not reveal how many Lightning Lane Premier passes are available per day, but it’s safe to say that the company is making a killing on its newest way to skip the line. Many Disney guests believe this is a must-purchase for them to make the most of their vacation.
For those who can’t afford the pricey option, prepare to wait in line for the next week.
