New Flamingo Joins 2024 Animal Kingdom Lodge Gingerbread Display
Heading out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, we can see some familiar faces along with a new face for the 2024 gingerbread display. The display is found in the lobby, and before we get to the detailed photos of the display itself, here’s an overview of the Christmas Tree and gingerbread animals nearby.
This year’s gingerbread display in Jambo House contains Ginger the Giraffe (debuted 2021), Debra the Zebra (debuted 2022), and new for 2024 is Francisco the Flamingo! Here are some fun facts about the display, followed by a closer look at the trio!

- 27 pounds of flour
- 12 pounds of dark modeling chocolate
- 12 eggs
- 1.5 pounds of gingerbread spices
