With the grand opening of Disneyland’s spooky new gift shop, the theme park resort may have just given guests their first look at the new bride rumored to replace the old one found inside Haunted Mansion. The shop, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond, is a new Haunted Mansion-inspired hub for merchandise, trinkets, and other goodies, similar to Memento Mori at Walt Disney World.

The new shop is part of the large-scale expansion and refurbishment of Haunted Mansions’ outdoor queue, which began last year and wrapped up earlier this winter. Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond officially opened in December, offering a dazzling array of spooky and macabre items.

However, hidden among the new merchandise is possibly the first look at the new bride coming to Disneyland’s version of Haunted Mansion. New photos of the store were shared online, with Twitter/X user DrewDisneyDude zooming in on one particular section.

Is this our new bride?

Reports of Disneyland updating its bride scene in the Haunted Mansion began swirling earlier this year, with rumors also claiming Disney was looking to change the hitchhiking ghosts scene as well. It’s been theorized that Haunted Mansion would receive a new Bride and a new scene to accompany her.

The photo seen in the new Madame Leota store seems to show a brand-new character, possibly giving guests a first look at the Haunted Mansion’s new bride.

Constance Hatchaway has long been a staple of Disney’s ghost-filled dark ride, but like most attractions at the parks, things change over time, with Haunted Mansion being no exception. Just last year, Disney made major updates to the version of the ride in Magic Kingdom, adding the now-iconic Hatbox Character.

With the opening of Disneyland’s new Haunted Mansion-inspired store, now seems like the perfect time to refresh the Haunted Mansion’s bride scene, though Disney has not officially announced or confirmed this.

Haunted Mansion is currently in the middle of its holiday overlay, Haunted Mansion Holiday. This limited-time overlay is scheduled to last through January 6, with the Haunted Mansion reopening in its original form on January 18, 2025.

During this time, guests can shop aboard for an attraction inspired by Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and meet some of the film’s main characters, including Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie.
