According to the Walt Disney World calendar, the Frozen Holiday Surprise holiday season Cinderella Castle lighting ceremony is scheduled to begin tonight. The debut was previously set for November 12th with the official start of the holiday season at Walt Disney World. The Frozen Holiday Surprise is an updated version of the Frozen Holiday Wish show that used to utilize the popular Castle Dream Lights. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World has not brought back the Castle Dream Lights since 2019, and the chances that they ever return appear to approach 0% every year that Disney opts not to install them.

Frozen Holiday Surprise

Join Frozen friends from Arendelle as they ring in the season. The celebration begins when Olaf and over 100 of his snowgie siblings add garlands, ornaments, wreaths and more to Cinderella Castle.

Next, Anna, Elsa and Kristoff will appear on stage with Olaf—all decked out in their holiday best. The festivities culminate as Elsa adds the finishing touches with her ice magic, transforming Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystallized palace.

The show will run nightly during the holiday season for all guests at 6:15pm and then again on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights exclusively for event attendees at 8:15pm.
