While visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning, we stopped into the Windtraders gift shop to find that one of the four styles of shoulder banshee toys is now permanently sold out. About a month ago, we wrote an article noting that stock for the award-winning toy was running low, and now Cast Members tell us that one of the styles has completely sold out ahead of a refresh of the interactive toy.
Shoulder Banshee Style Sold Out
The style that is sold out is the dark blue and with purple accents banshee pictured below. Cast Members said that they do not expect a restock of this style or any other style that is sold out before the new wave of banshees arrives.

Walt Disney World has previously announced that a new version of the shoulder banshee will debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this Fall. The new version of the shoulder banshees will be all-electric, with no physical control to make them move. The new version will come with some other upgrades and updates too, including glow-in-the-dark skin and the ability to interact with other shoulder banshees when they are nearby.
Walt Disney World is currently running a deal on the remaining shoulder banshees, offering 30% off of the normal retail price. Additional discounts also apply.
