In northern states, the changing colors of leafs signal the transition between seasons. Here in Central Florida, we track the installation of holiday decor in the theme parks. Out of all of the seasons, there is perhaps none more magical at Walt Disney World than the holiday season. An extra glow is added to the parks after sunset, and while the crowds can get a bit crazy, there’s a festive buzz in the air for nearly two months.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is continuing preparations for the 2024 Holiday Season with the installation of beautiful animal luminaries on the rooftops of the Discovery Island shops in front of the Tree of Life. Back in 2019, Disney introduced an updated slate of holiday decor and entertainment that has earned it a well-deserved stop on your Holiday Season vacation.
