Disneyland has announced that the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree will open next week in the renamed Bayou Country section of the theme park. The Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree is scheduled to open on October 25th and serve up regional barbecue dishes the Country Bears discovered while on tour, all while foot-stompin’ and finger-snappin’ to the Country Bears greatest hits!
Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree Opening Date
The Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree is a renamed and rethemed version of the Hungry Bear restaurant, with 100% more inspiration from the Country Bears. Fans of the Country Bears will know that Disneyland used to have a Country Bear show but it was eventually replaced. Walt Disney World just updated the Country Bear Jamboree to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree in Magic Kingdom, including an all-new setlist featuring Disney songs. There have been no additional changes announced for Walt Disney World at this time.
In fact, eagle-eyed guests will see a Hungry Bear Restaurant napkin on display in the lobby for the Magic Kingdom attraction. As you can see below, the napkin was used when brainstorming early ideas for the current setlist!
