Walt Disney World has announced a permanent closure date for a number of experiences and attractions in DinoLand USA. The closures are part of the first phase of the Tropical Americas retheme of the area, which will be fully completed by 2027. We originally wrote a rumor that Walt Disney World would start to close parts of DinoLand USA in November, but they have delayed that closure and will now officially close a number of experiences starting January 13, 2025. Here’s the announcements:

TriceraTop Spin Permanently Closing

TriceraTop Spin will close permanently on January 13, 2025, to make way for the Tropical Americas coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in 2027.

Fossil Fun Games Permanently Closing

Fossil Fun Games will close permanently on January 13, 2025, to make way for the Tropical Americas coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in 2027.

Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures Gift Shop Permanently Closing

Fossil Fun Games will close permanently on January 13, 2025, to make way for the Tropical Americas coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in 2027.
