We were lucky enough to snag a dinner reservation at one of the most popular resort restaurants at Walt Disney World this year, Steakhouse 71! Located in the main tower of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Steakhouse 71 is in a great location for guests visiting Magic Kingdom, or just looking for a date night along the monorail loop! While guests can join the walkup list via the My Disney Experience app, it is strongly suggested that they make a reservation in advance, as this is quite a hot spot!

Ashley and I were able to sample a few appetizers and then split a HUMONGOUS cheeseburger that we couldn’t stop raving about for the rest of our trip! We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more; the portions were huge & perfect for sharing! It was a great way to try a few different things, though, we loved the Stack Burger so much that I don’t think we’d be willing to share it again! 🙂One important thing to note is that the Stack Burger is NOT listed on the dinner menu (it’s currently listed as a lunch item) but you CAN order it for dinner, just ask your server!

Appetizers: The Sea Salt-Dusted Potato Brioche came highly recommended to us, so we had to try it! The sea salt topping & sweet butter spread is what really made it! The brioche is really sizeable, so it’s perfect for the table to share! The Steakhouse 71 Onion Rings are a great sharing option as well, the breading around them is pretty thick, but the flavor is great. Definitely try the spicy ranch dipping sauce that comes with the dish; that really makes it!

Dinner: The Stack Burger will be the best cheeseburger you ever eat, not just at Disney, but anywhere! We are still talking about it, that’s how good it was! I personally took the pickles and onions off my portion, added a dash of ketchup, and it was to die for! Your burger comes with waffle parmesan fries, which were just okay, nothing to write home about. You can opt for a pasta salad, or wedge salad as your side instead; I probably would next time!

Drinks: Ashley had the Vodka Gimlet and raved about it, she would definitely order again! I tried the Pear French 75 and really enjoyed it as well, the fruity prosecco combo is yummy! It does have a little lemon juice in it which you can definitely taste; if you don’t like sour/slightly bitter cocktails maybe try something else!

Open for breakfast, brunch, and dinner, Steakhouse 71 is a great dining experience to check out on your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Browse current dining reservation availability on the My Disney Experience app, try to join the walkup list, or head in and sit at the bar with no reservation! Guests can also enjoy mobile ordering to-go from this location, as well! Have you dined at Steakhouse 71 yet? Let us know your favorite meal & menu item to stop in for!
