Pixar Fest is in full swing at Disneyland Resort, and with the celebrations comes some really delicious (and pretty!) food, sweets, and beverages that are, of course, Pixar-themed! The event is running now through August 4, so we still have so much more to try, but we wanted to start our reviews now of what we’ve tried so far so that you can see what’s worth trying and what’s worth skipping if you plan on vising the parks during the Pixar Fest. There’s SO much to try, and it’s all spread out between both parks. You can check out the full Foodie Guide here, and you can find reviews of the items we’ve tried below (we will update as we try more things).

Disney California Adventure

One important thing to note is that at Disney California Adventure, you can find Pixar-Fest foodie items all around the park, and there are 6 Pixar-themed marketplaces. However, no Sip and Savor Pass is being offered for the marketplaces.

Gusteau’s To-Go Marketplace

Ratatouille Pizzetta

topped with Mozzarella, Eggplant, Squash, Zucchini, a Drizzle of Tomato Sauce, and a Wedge of French Camembert

This portion size is pretty teeny tiny, especially for the price…BUT, this is très délicieux! There have been some mixed reviews on this one, but I just had to try for myself and I’m so glad I did because it’s perfection. The wedge of Camamber on the top (which is essentially Brie Cheese) is a cute little touch to this Ratatouille pizza. I’m not a huge eggplant, squash, and zucchini eater, but everything mixed together with the drizzle of tomato sauce is to die for. Make sure to eat it right away while it’s warm!

Gusteau Macaron

Crème brûlée mousse with caramel center

Of course, I was beyond excited to try this ridiculously cute macaron. I mean, that design is perfect, and crème brûlée filling? The filling is light and very flavorful; this one definitely lives up to the hype, and if you try one dessert out of all the marketplaces, it should be this one!

4*TOWN FAV*4*ITES

Nobody Like U Cooler

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Raspberry Rose Tea, White Cranberry, Lime & Orange Juices, and Cherry Syrup, garnished with an Orange Wedge Gummy Candy.

I always get a bit nervous about drinks because some can be too sugary. This one actually turned out to be really good, and there are so many good flavors going on in it. It is refreshing, but the dominant flavors are cherry and cranberry. This is a too-cool-for-school drink and the perfect drink for this marketplace!

Disneyland Park
Troubadour Tavern

Firetown Mac & Cheese Bites

Fried Gouda Mac and Cheese Bites tossed in Four-Chile Rub

This one is very interesting and fun! I did not get a Gouda cheese flavor; it just tasted like normal mac and cheese to me. It IS spicy, though! If you are sensitive to spice, you will want to skip this one. If you have a good tolerance like me, then you will likely enjoy these as the kick isn’t overwhelming but just enough to get your nose slightly running (LOL!). This comes with quite a few bites, so it’s definitely shareable.

Roundup BBQ Potato

Brisket Burnt Ends tossed in Coca-Cola BBQ Sauce, Creamy Slaw, Pickle Spear, and Onion-flavored Snacks

This has so much going on, and I was excited to try it because Troubador Tavern has had some awesome jacket potato offerings the past year. This has been one of their most popular items so far, and I can see why. It’s packed with so many tasty goodies, and it is filling! I am not a huge brisket lover, and I found myself gobbling this one up. The pickle and Onion crunchies on the top add great texture to this little dish. The portion size is decent, so this one can also be shareable!
